New Vernon, a section of Harding Township bordering Morristown and Chatham; is most noted for being home to Geraldine Rockerfeller Dodge- a philanthropist and founder of the Seeing Eye Foundation, St. Hubert's at Giralda Farms and the Morris & Essex Dog Club. Dogs were her life, and today you will find the Seeing Eye exercising and training dogs on the streets of Morristown where their good nature and obedience is evident and everyone is welcoming.
The area remains rural in feeling and mostly intact to its original, pristine setting. This is an affluent community with rolling hills and winding tree-lined roads. Shop along the area's Country Mile and enjoy charming, countrified stores for gifts, clothing, jewelry, furniture and all of your gardening needs. A favorite of mine is the Garden Cottage for all of your outdoor decor.
Come visit, take a tour! You will want to live in this wonderful community! Call Judy
