Far Hills

Far Hills...what can I say? With a population of just over 900 residents, it is home to the famous Far Hills Race Meeting held every October and enjoyed by over 35,000 spectators to aid the Somerset Health Care Foundation on behalf of the Robert Woods Johnson University Hospital.  Held at the crossroads of three of the wealthiest counties in America (known as the Somerset Hills area) where people travel to participate in extravagant tailgating parties and world-class thoroughbred steeplechasing.  Held at the former estate of Grant B. Schley- today called Moorland Farms- other local points of interest include the Leonard  J. Buck Gardens (fabulous azaleas and rhododendrons are featured here), the United States Golf Association and Museum the USGA HEADQUARTERS (where the rules and regulations of golf are sanctioned) and an annual event called Music at Moorland featuring the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra.

Least we forget to mention...at the Far Hills Fairgrounds held twice yearly (in spring and fall) the famous Visiting Nurse Association Rummage Sale- where people come from far and near to participate in this bi-annual event.

Trains depart regularly from the Far Hills train station and those who make their home at the Polo Club townhouses have the unique convenience of a short stroll to the station.  Live in the country and enjoy the city!  What could be better?  Let me introduce you to Far Hills living...at its best!  Call Judy
