It’s not just grass and greenery…it’s connecting it all to the existing land you live upon. Think about the vistas, the night sky, the wildlife, the connection to the land, and your own personal enjoyment.
Ask yourself: How does the outside influence my everyday life?
Do you spend a lot of time walking around your property? Or do you also like to spend time indoors looking out the windows?
As climates change, (as we have all been hearing about), how does this affect your garden? Your landscape? Each home and area has its microclimate. As climates change and evolve, rainfall levels change, and heat and sunlight change, so will your gardens and vistas.
Owners today have diverse interests and lifestyles that need to be considered when designing their landscape. Pools patios, (equestrienne needs if the property is several acres as in Bedminster or Tewkesbury), children, and pets.
Specialty gardens such as Meditation spaces, serenity gardens, and white or blank spaces have been gaining interest.
