This craft lodging is located less than a mile from downtown Asheville, a short 12-minute drive from the Biltmore Estate entrance and 18 minutes from the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway (exit 33 on I-26) coming into town.
Prepare to be pampered during your entire stay at Abbington Green Bed & Breakfast Inn and Spa. All bed linens are high-quality spa sheets and are available for purchase at the Inn. (unique, right?) Located a mile from downtown Asheville, you can easily enjoy an afternoon Social Hour (wine cheese and fruit are served) before dining out at one of Asheville's fine restaurants. (and there are plenty to choose from!) The Inn serves complimentary local beers and ciders, red and white wines, non-alcoholic drinks, and cheese plates every evening at 5:00 pm, on the most charming front porch that runs the length of the home. A wonderful place to meet your neighbors staying at the Inn.
Architect Richard Sharp Smith, the Supervising Architect under Richard Morris Hunt while Biltmore Estate was being constructed for George Vanderbilt, designed the house that is now Abbington Green Bed & Breakfast Inn and Spa. The Inn is proudly located in the Montford Historic District in Asheville, NC, named North Carolina's "Best Old-House Neighborhood"! Location, location, location!
