FIRE…IT'S ELEMENTAL!
Backyard fire pits have been rated one of the most popular outdoor design features to date. With New Jersey weather- outdoor dining and party time can extend into the colder months. Who doesn’t love sitting around a fire with family and friends? Fire…it’s elemental, primal, and memorizing, and brings any space to life! Use it in the wintertime, for a little outdoor socializing- I love it! I think of it as a place I can’t wait to get back to! My happy place! Watching the glow of the fire, blankets, mulled wine with cinnamon, cozy Uggs! There can even be a little snow on the ground- for the atmosphere!
It Could Add Value to Your Home
To make your property attractive to potential buyers, install a fire pit, as it’s a hardscape feature that adds value to your home. As with hot tubs and pools, it will up the enticement factor of your home.
But…Think Safety
Fire pit safety begins by choosing the right site. Ensure fires are located at least 10 to 20 feet away from any plants or overhanging trees, in a safe place nearby the house or patio.
